It all started one rainy afternoon. I was drawing in my room when I heard a weird noise. It sounded like someone was chuckling just outside my door. Excited, I slowly crept over and peeked through the keyhole. There, standing in my hallway, was the most wonderful sight!

The Invisible Friend Who Wasn't So Scary

When I first/began/started to see him, I was terrified. He was always there, watching/looking/peeking from the corner of my eye, but he never showed/appeared/came close. My parents thought I was being silly, but I knew better. This wasn't a game.
